Shhhh! Secret Machines!

Don’t tell anyone (DON’T YOU KNOW WHAT SECRET MEANS?), but The Secret Machines seem to be playing in Ft. Lauderdale tonight. The venue is “Revolutions” or “Armed Insurrections” or “Bloodless Coup’s” or “Bloody Coup’s” or “Freedom Fights” or some harmless-but-cool term.

I’m not going to say who the headlining act is, because it’s fucking Kings of Leon, and Stacy’s Mom Has Fucking Lost Whatever She Had Going On; but I think an up-and-coming Sub Pop band called the Helio Sequence will be along, too.

So who wants to go? The So-Fla concert scene is slim pickins, unfortunately; but I feel like this one might be worth the $25 ticket. Different web sites have different start times posted, but my guess is doors at 6:30, the Helio Sequence at 7:30, leaving when Kings of Leon come on at 10:15.
