More On The Secret

Well, I went to the show, but it wasn’t my favorite. The bands I saw (Helio Sequence and Secret Machines) were good, so it could have been a fun show; but the crowd sort of sucked. There do exist some scenesters in SoFla after all, but they were at a Kings of Leon concert, so, like, yeah.

There were also a lot of large New York/New Jersey transplants, which was occasionally funny but generally annoying. Their largeosity made it difficult for my little companion, and it wasn’t really even much fun for me, so we left towards the end of Secret Machines’ set.

Do listen to Helio Sequence if you never have, though. They’re good. And Secret Machines are good, too. Kings of Leon, on the other hand, should have an iPod commercial (if they don’t already).
