FUN HAUS

OK, so the carnival has been in town since I got here (and it’s here until the end of the month), but there aren’t like fairgrounds outside the city. Instead, they just fill up all of the historic plazas (maarkts) with colorful rides and carneys, which is really weird. There isn’t one set area for them; different booths and trailers are set up all over the place. The picture above was taken from the steps of the historic library, which has been rebuilt after both world wars. Clicking into the beyond will yield yet another such photo.
