“Oh Thank Heaven” … or “Koben-cabana Bonanza”

Sorry for not having Amsterdam photos (but you can imagine what that might be like). I do, however, have some Copenhagen-related photos in an album here. It was a whirlwind weekend — ended, last night, by a trip to the most “Euro” euro-club ever. The club, RUST (which is not pronounced like the English word RUST if you ask a Danskman), had recently been the site of a shooting, and it featured two DJs who were battling over which could better mash Missy Elliott’s “Work It.” One was a skinny woman in a sleeveless tee; the other was a gentleman with a blonde Fu Manchu moustache and yellow sunglasses. No pictures of that, though; there were too many rock stars (like me) there.
There are 7-11s on every corner in Copenhagen, too. I hadn’t seen them anywhere else in Europe, but there they were.

I almost thought I made the 7-11s up. Glad to see you’ve provided proof. This is why we appreciate your bloggery — you’re always questin’ for veritas.
