Lots of News, But No Point Reporting It

I’m a professional blogger now. I was hired in May by the Center for Independent Media to be their State Coordinator for Iowa. That makes me the Managing Editor of Iowa Independent, the newest, awesomest progressive political web site in that great state.

So I’m living in Des Moines, hanging out in my apartment, and occasionally rubbing elbows with the next US President and about twenty other people vying for that position. I don’t know what you think of me, but in some parts I’m now front page, above the fold news. (In other corners, I’m not quite as well liked.)

But I am definitely a blogger, despite how this might look. I swear. I’m going to post things here now.
